Gran Turismo car comes to life: GTbyCITROËN

This unique vehicle was the brainchild of Kazunori Yamauchi, the same man that founded the Gran Turismo driving games. His staff designed the car for the recently-released game and Citroën actually built a real-life car for the Paris Auto Show. In the game, the 3085-pound car is powered by a hydrogen engine with extra “boost” provided by an electrical engine. The combined power of both power plants is 784 hp. That power-to-weight ratio would approximately equal a zero–60 time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph.

The car’s design stole the show. The car is low, wide, and very long. Although it is nice to dream, this car will mostly likely never be produced. You can find more pictures here.
