2008 OBSIDIAN SG-ONE
NEWS & REVIEWS
You’re looking at quite possibly the most awesome Mustang ever conceived. One of the stars of last year’s SEMA tuner show in Las Vegas, the Obsidian SG-ONE wraps a 900-hp twin-supercharged and intercooled 392-cube V-8 in one of the wildest retro-Mustang bodies on the planet. Built by Autoworks International and CoupeR Design, the car is loosely based around a ’67 Mustang but with stunningly executed design mods, like that functional ram-air hood, functional fender cooling vents, and gorgeous billet trim. Rolling on 18-inch front and 20-inch rear CoupeR billet wheels, the car features a unitary-tube chassis to add stiffness and shave the weight to around 3,000 pounds. Inside, the handcrafted leather cabin features a thumping Kicker audio system plus Internet access and a 60-gig hard drive. One remarkable technical feature is the five-speed Tremec manual shifter that can be controlled by paddle shifters on the wheel. This is certainly one pony car with a big kick. www.obsidiansg1.com

2008 OBSIDIAN MUSTANG INITIAL SERIES
NEWS & REVIEWS
Everyone loves the classic 1967 Mustang. But restoring a rust-riddled original is a daunting, time-consuming task for anyone. California-based Autoworks Racing has the perfect solution—a brand-new 1967 ’Stang, as in new from the ground up, with a new body, a 302-ci V-8 with 390-hp, and all the modern-day conveniences, like power everything and air-conditioning. Dynacorn International produces the new bodyshells for Autoworks Racing and they can be customized with an array of scoops and spoilers that take the styling from mild to wild. Powered by a Obsidian-built Ford V-8 coupled to a five-speed T5 manual transmission, the Mustang should zoom from zero-to-60 mph in around five seconds and go onto a top speed of 140 mph. Inside, the interior can be customized exactly the way you want, with new bucket seats, a top-end stereo, and billet trim. The best ride on cruise night is just a phone call away. www.autoworksracing.com
