2007 Foose STALLION
NEWS & REVIEWS
In addition to starring in that manic-paced Overhaulin’ television show, hot-rod guru Chip Foose is also working with Texas-based Mustang magicians, Unique Performance, creating some of the coolest pony cars around. One of their newest offerings is a beefed-up, pumped-up, testosterone fueled version of the new Mustang GT, called the Stallion. The beauty of the conversion is that you can buy it straight from your friendly local Ford dealer for $42,065, which includes a new GT. It’s essentially a styling package that features a Chip Foose-designed body kit, including a modified hood with a giant air scoop, a new billet grille, a deep front spoiler with twin driving lights, and a rear deck spoiler. The car rolls on Foose-designed 20-inch rims covering four-piston Baer calipers that clamp Eradispeed 15- inch rotors. Inside, the Stallion gets custom leather seats and new dash trim panels. Production is being restricted to just 3,000 cars a year to ensure you won’t see another in the stable.

NEWS & REVIEWS
The good news is that Dodge has given the green light to building that horny Challenger Concept that was the hit of January’s Detroit auto show. The bad news is that it won’t hit showrooms till 2008. If you just can’t wait that long, worry not. Dallas-based Unique Performance, together with Overhaulin’ star Chip Foose, are building a limited run of customized 1970 Hemi Challengers. The Foose Challengers will start life as original 1970 or ’71 cars and, just like in Overhaulin’, will be transformed into fire-breathing monsters. Powerwise, owners will have the choice of either a 5.7-liter 347-cubic-inch Hemi small block or a full-house 426-cubic-inch Hemi big block, mated to a TKO five-speed. They’ll also get Unique Performance Parts rear suspensions, four-wheel Baer disc brakes, Foose rims, and the full Foose custom-body treatments. As for price, as the saying goes: If you have to ask …
