One of 3 movie DeLoreans to fetch $400,000 to $600,000, go to auction with other memorabilia

DeLorean DMC-12 time machine

One of three DeLorean cars that have survived since the filming of the Back to the Future series is expected to fetch $400,000–$600,000 when it goes on sale at a Icons of Hollywood auction to be held December 15th, 16th, and 17th, at a yet undisclosed location. The car will come with a Universal Studios certificate of authenticity and an original signed bill of sale with VIN.

The original DeLorean will go up for auction next to other movie memorabilia including Griff’s remote control Pitbull hoverboard from Back to the Future II, which is expected to bring in $15,000–$20,000; Marty’s Mattel-brand hoverboard from the same movie; McFly’s jacket from the first Back to the Future movie, and much more.
