Due to Toyota's discontinuance of the 1.8-liter four-cylinder 2ZZ engine, the Lotus Elise and Exige will no longer be available in North America (although it will continue in other markets). Lotus is saying farewell to the Exige and Elise for North America with three limited Final Edition vehicles.
Lotus will say goodbye to the Elise with 15 Elise SC Final edition models. It features matte black details on the exterior and interior, a high level of standard equipment, and a base price of $57,500.
The Final Edition Exige models will be available in two basic color flavors: a Matte Black Final Edition and every-other-color S260 Final Edition. The Exige Matte Black Final Edition is equipped with the S260’s supercharged and intercooled 257-hp engine but wears an exclusive matte black paint finish and comes equipped with black Alacantara sport seats. It will be limited to 25 units at a base price of $69,900.
The 30 Exige S260 Final Edition units will come in the full array of Lotus exterior colors and be priced from $67,500.
