Hagerty Insurance looking for the next star automotive youth reporter

Hagerty Insurance Agency is looking for the next all-star automotive youth reporter as part of its Operation Ignite! Youth Advocacy programs. Open to children between the ages of 8–17, participants are required to upload a three to five minute video that highlights their reporting skills at a collector car event. The public will be invited to view and vote online to determine the winner from a select ten of the entries.

The winner, and his or her parent or guardian, will receive all-expense-paid trips to four major automotive events throughout the year, including the Monterey Classic Car Week in August, where they will create video reports of the events. Those videos will be featured on the Hagerty Insurance website.

As one of the industry’s leading providers of collector car insurance, Hagerty is dedicated to helping ensure the future of the collector vehicle hobby through its youth programs. Operation Ignite! currently promotes youth classic car judging, paddock tours, automotive design contests, and a newsletters for youths that are interested in classic cars.
