The Ty Warner Penthouse at the top of the New York’s Four Seasons hotel is perhaps the most expensive hotel suite in the world. At $35,000 a night, the 4,300-square-foot nine-room penthouse offers its temporary residents a number of fine distinctions that separate it from the single room rate of $695 a night, including unlimited access to a Rolls-Royce Phantom or Maybach sedan. The penthouse, which can only be reached via its own private elevator, offers a 360-degree of all of Manhattan through its floor-to-ceiling bay windows and glass balconies. Other novelty treatments include an on-call 24-hour butler, a personal trainer / therapist, free admission to all the hotel’s spas and fine dining rooms, free long-distance calling, TVs programmed for every channel worldwide, and complimentary caviar and champagne as a snack between meals.
Of course, you obtain a hotel room to sleep and this penthouse's master bedroom is sure to please its nightly renters too. The canopy bed in the master suite holds a king-sized $60,000 Hastens Vividus mattress, the most expensive mattress in the world, and features Thai silk spun from 22-carat pure gold thread.
If you think it might be worth it if you and 35 of your closest friends pony up the cash for a celebratory weekend, you are out of luck; the 52nd-floor villa is only available for up to three people.
