The Xenatec Maybach 57 S Coupe is officially a reality and 100 units will be offered for a premium price approaching one-million dollars. Saudi-based Auto Kingdom has agreed to grant €70 million, approximately $90 million, to the German-based special vehicle manufacturer Xenatec for the project. The coupe is also being backed by Mercedes-Benz, which will honor the original car warranty despite the car’s modifications. Production of the “Cruiserio Coupe,” as it is now being called, is expected to span the next three years with the first 9–12 months of orders already being filled.
