This is the new 2011 2012 BMW 1-Series M Coupe. It will feature a 340-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged I-6. Power will be exclusively transferred by a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The car will weigh about 3,300 pounds and will be good for a zero-to-60 time of less than five seconds. It will feature some M3 bits and a finely tuned suspension to offer stellar track dynamics. In a way, it is like the BMW M3s from yesteryear; more basic, but probably better off because of it.
