Two euphoria-inducing automotive videos: The first is the new 458 Italia Challenge in all its glory lapping Ferrari’s Fiorano test track. Ferrari says the 458 Challenge can lap its test track in one minute and 16.5 seconds, a full second faster than its predecessor, the F430 Challenge.
The second video is of the Pagani Zonda R’s lap around the infamous Nürburgring track in six minutes and 47.5 seconds, which is leaps and bounds faster than the Ferrari 599XX’s six-minute-and-58.16-second lap time. None of these times have been obtained by some sort of regulatory body and these cars are not street legal. The street legal king is unofficially the Porsche GT2 RS, followed by the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR.
