Photographs of an orange Gallardo prototype that is covered in black tape and undergoing testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife is actually a spyder version of the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni. InsideLine points out that although very similar in design, the prototype shares its intakes and lack of fixed rear wing with the Balboni.
