Beyond all the Darth Vader and Batman jokes, the 2005 Exelero concept maybe the best auto Maybach ever built (in the 2000s), which is a shame since it only built one. Lamborghini Genève is looking to take advantage of that by offering to build anyone an 800-hp Exelero replica in exchange for $580,000 and a $90,000 Dodge Viper donor car; quite a deal considering the original Exelero reportedly sold for $8 million.

Little else is known except the car features a made-to-order interior and is available in any exterior color the owner wishes (but who isn’t going to go with black?). The Viper’s 8.4-liter V-10 has been supercharged for an additional 200 hp and the car rides on 23-inch wheels. Seems too good to be true? We think so too. All the photos used for the ad on JamesList are of the real Maybach Exelero, including the interior with the automatic transmission.
