Chevy upgrades Z06 for 2011

After unveiling the Z06 Carbon edition in March, Chevy introduced a Z07 performance package for 2011 Z06 that featured many of the special-edition car’s upgrades, including the Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, magnetic ride control, chassis and cooling upgrades, and the Z06 Carbon’s unique wheels.

Now we have a video from an event last week at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where even more enhancements for the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 were announced. To position the Z06 a few more ticks ahead of the slightly upgraded Corvette Grand Sport, Chevy will introduce a new tire designed by Goodyear and tweaked exhaust system with a more prominent engine note.

The video below is narrated by Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter as he goes over all the new-for-2011 Z06 enhancements.
