InsideLine is reporting that the Continental GT will look a little different for 2012. The revisions include new headlamps, with Gatling-gun-like surrounds similar to the units in the new Mulsanne, along with new sheetmetal at the car's front edge that molds better into the front and softens the crease where the front and side of the car meet. Other changes included small adjustments to the front air dams including mesh inserts, which in the past were normally reserved for the GT Speed. The 2012 Bentley Continental will also include changes under the skin, more specifically the car's structure. It is believed that Bentley will take some tips from the new Audi A8 and its aluminum spaceframe to reduce the car’s weight. The reduction in weight should help increase performance and improve the car’s gas mileage.
For the people inside the Bentley, revisions will include an updated user interface with real-time traffic and iPod accessibility.
