The Dodge Viper was first put on the sale block, then on the chopping block, and now will be back on the sale’s lot. Chrysler has announced that the Viper will not die. Despite its best efforts to sell the car “brand”, no one, presumably, (read about how Fiat may have negelected a bid) came to the table with a substantial enough offer. The car was apparently going to die during the bankruptcy restructuring; however, Fiat-owned Chrysler LLC has announced that Dodge flagship will move on into the next decade.
