Debuting as a concept in 1989, and then in showrooms in 1992, the Dodge Viper may have just run out of track, here, in 2009. Chrysler has been trying to off load the Viper “brand” since August of 2008 for $10 million. With no serious bidders in sight, and the rest of Chrysler LLC’s assets being sold to Fiat SpA, the Viper car may soon be nothing more than a memory.
We salute Dodge for its 20 years of building one of the most over the top and ostentatious muscle car to ever come from Detroit.
