CL-class being replaced by the S-class Coupe?

We already informed you that the CLK’s upcoming replacement would fall under the E-class nomenclature. Now speculation is that the CL’s replacement will be heading down the same path and now be called the S-class Coupe. As the company’s priciest model (if you neglect the SLR supercar and its variants), the CL is considered Mercedes’ flagship model despite the S-class and SL-class being only a few thousand dollars cheaper yet normally outselling the CL-class by a ratio of 7-to-1 and 2-to-1, respectfully.

Expect the normal round of V-8 and V-12 engine offerings as well as a number of cosmetic changes including LED lamps at the front and rear.
