Audi has announced that it will be outfitting its mechanics with cameras and two-way radios in service centers throughout the U.K. in order to give its customers a better understanding of what kind of work is being done to their cars. After a pilot program proved successful, Audi decided to move forward with the project in order to make the diagnosis and repair of its vehicles more transparent and to separate it from its competitors which “are often accused of baffling customers with science.” No word yet if this is better than being blinded with science.
